Whether it's St. Patrick's Day or not, everyone has a little luck o' the Irish in them. I had a blast at the St. Patrick's Day parade today. It is beautiful weather and even my dog was able to tag along. How cute are these fun headbands that my sister found us? I am so happy John Thiessen was the Grand marshal for the parade.

As sweet as 3.14159265359. I decided to celebrate Pi day with a delicious homemade pizza pie and a chocolate pudding pie (courtesy of my Mom). Can't wait to make learning fun with a little one and to celebrate all the little things.

I was so excited to celebrate Kiki’s 13th birthday. I can't believe she is already 13! Kiki is an amazingly talented singer and actress, she is bubbly, kind, smart, beautiful, a fellow Harry Potter fan, and a phenomenal little and big sister. I am so grateful to have Kiki in my life and I hope everyone has a Kiki in theirs.

Beyond grateful for the incredible and inspiring women beside me, the amazing women before me, and I have so much hope for the future women to follow me. Who runs the world? Girls

Lazy Sunday morning over here. I was excited to find some new apple cinnamon pancake mix over at Stew Leonard’s that I had to try.

I am taking an extra moment of mindfulness on this leap day to appreciate this spectacular sunset. If I could leap four years into the future and envision next leap day, I see me surrounded by a little one(s) playing leap frog in the backyard and getting ready for a special leap day craft and to read a leap year bedtime story.

Sweet treats for my sweet girl. My dog loves a car ride, but she seriously loves a car ride that ends with a location that she gets to explore as well. Mutts and Butts is the cutest little pet shop that invites all puppers to explore inside and pick out their own treats.

I'm sad that the Lunar New Year celebrations are coming to an end, but I am excited to share my dragon crochet. I wanted to crochet something special for Lunar New Year and I think this dragon was the perfect choice.

I don't want to grow up, I'm a Toys ‘R’ Us kid. On my recent visit to the American Dream Mall, I was so excited to visit the Toys ‘R' Us store. I have missed this store. I am so excited to roam the aisles and pick out toys for a little one!!

I love an opportunity to take a course to learn something new. My Mom, sister, and I have been taking advantage of a lot of the different financial seminars being offered by our local adult continuing education program.

Touchdown! If given the choice between the puppy bowl and the super bowl, I would pick the puppy bowl every time. However, if I have a child with an interest in football, I will become the biggest football fan there is. For now, I'll just enjoy the snacks and the halftime show.

I love Lunar New Year! I love all the mythology and colors and celebrations. I love the lion dances and the twelve animal Chinese zodiacs. I especially love all the wishes for peace and prosperity in the year ahead and the time spent celebrating with family as well as honoring ancestors.

The Lion dance is a traditional Asian art form that originated in China and dates back 5000 years. So even though the costume may look like a dragon, it is actually a lion. Performers mimic a lion's movements to tell a story and bring good luck and fortune to the audience.

One of my favorite things to do during Lunar New Year is to read the horoscope for my zodiac sign for the upcoming year. According to myths, the twelve animals of the Chinese zodiac were selected through a race. They are not only used to represent years in China, but also believed to influence people's personalities, career, compatibility, and fortune.

Punxsutawney Phil did not see his shadow so it looks like spring is on the way. Woohoo! Did you know groundhogs are related to squirrels? Throwback to enjoying the beautiful tulip farm as I patiently wait for spring to arrive.

During our sister weekend in Philadelphia, my sister and I had the chance to explore The Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University. What a hidden gem in the city filled with so many incredible museums. I was not expecting it to be as large as it was and we were both exhausted by the time we completed the whole thing.

My sister and I had a little sister weekend adventure in Philadelphia. There is nothing like the bond of a sibling and I am so lucky to have the best sister on the planet. My sister surprised me with a fun sister weekend banner that our Mom handmade for us and some balloons in the hotel room. We need to do sister weekend getaways more often!

Enjoying the beautiful snowy weather here in New York. My dog was made for the cold weather and she gets so excited to roll around and play in the snow.
