Getting to

Know Me

I am an easy going,

dinosaur loving, elephant collecting, amigurumi crocheting, redhead.

I read approximately 100 books per year, mainly fiction, but I am open to any and all genres. I believe reading opens the door to everything. My dream job would be to own a bookstore with the most fantastical children's section. Can you imagine the library from Beast's castle in Beauty and the Beast? That would be one of my happy places. Well, maybe not the trapped in a castle part… but you know what I mean.

However, I am more than just a bookworm.

I love to try new things from a tame paint nite to an exciting skydiving adventure. My favorite hobby is crocheting. I primarily work on amigurumi which is the Japanese art of crocheting small, stuffed yarn creatures. I am a Life Insurance Underwriter and have been working fully remote for years. I was a remote worker well before the pandemic and the shift to hybrid work. I love remote work and the flexible schedule it affords me. It doesn't hurt that I got to trade in my heels for slippers :-)  Plus, not everyone gets to bring their dogs to work!
