Baby Bunnies
Something magical happened! We have baby bunnies. They are too cute and I am in love with them.
The Famous Idaho Potato Tour
We were so excited to take the dog to Stew Leonard’s to be a part of The Famous Idaho Potato Tour. We got to see the gigantic potato truck. It was so much fun to see the little kids running up to check if the potato was real or fake.
Light or Dark Side of the Force
Come to the dark side! That is what Jorell (my sister's fiancé) is always trying to get me to do. Jorell is my Star Wars expert. He surprised me with this fun challenge where we can figure out if we are part of the Light Side or Dark Side.
Go for the Gold
USA! USA! USA! Cheering so loudly for Team USA at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Fluffy Yarn
I was so excited for my big twist yarn delivery from Joann that I didn’t even get past my front door. I had to tear the box open to see all the pretty colors.
National Ice Cream Day
One tradition I am looking forward to starting with a little one is ice cream for breakfast on National Ice Cream Day!
Yay for the rain
It has been so unbearably hot and humid here that I was excited to get caught in the rain walking my dog. My dog wants to know if this counts as her bath?
Hard at Work
My sister, her fiancé, and my Dad have all been working hard on the electric over at her new home. Her upstairs bedrooms didn't have any lights at all. The previous owner only used a lamp. I may not have been able to help with the electrical stuff, but I was able to feed them all a good creamy chicken and asparagus skillet with some potatoes.
Watering Bell
My sister loves unique art and was so excited to discover K2.Clay. She is always on the hunt for those special items to elevate her new home. Luckily, she was able to secure the watering bells Francine and Pete.
4th of July 2024
Happy Birthday, America! We’re so lucky to have some beautiful weather here. I’m heading out to a friend’s BBQ, but before I left I wanted to put together a little flag s’mores dip.
Inside Out 2
I have never seen a movie in 4DX before so I am so excited that I had the chance to see Inside Out 2 in 4DX. It was so much fun! The seats moved so much more than I expected and it was an even cooler experience than I anticipated.
Kindle Spring Reading Challenge
It's Kindle Challenge time again! This challenge was pretty flexible and allowed the reader to select their own books to earn majority of the bookmarks this time around. My favorite bookmark was Solstice Story Time because it was the perfect excuse to sit out in the yard and dive into a good book.
Lord of the Rings
My sister's all-time favorite series is Lord of the Rings. There was no way we were going to miss the re-release of the Lord of the Rings Trilogy in a format never seen before in theaters. It felt like we were on our own little adventure heading to the movie theater three nights in a row for each extended edition.
Happy Father’s Day!!
Happy Father's Day to my Dad who is so often behind the scenes in my pictures. Whether he is helping me open my pool, or helping fix the boiler in my sister's new home, he is always helping us get stuff done. My Dad is so handy and can fix anything!
First Aid Kit
As I am getting ready to enjoy the start of the summer season, I am taking a minute to update my first aid kit. I am using all the tips I learned in pediatric first aid when selecting the items. I am looking forward to some upcoming outdoor adventures and fun in the sun.
Unpacking at my Sister's House
Does it count as helping if we climb in the boxes that we just helped unpack? I have been loving helping my sister get settled in her new home. It’s been so much fun to see her vision.
Back at The Circus
Spent an evening enjoying the dazzling performances of the acrobats at Flip Circus. I had so much fun with Cynthia's family, my sister, and Jorell.
Star Wars Trivia Night
Epic fail at Star Wars Trivia. Our original girls night out plans were rescheduled to October so we took advantage of a backup Star Wars Trivia night instead.
Uncle Billy’s 65th
I'm so happy we were able to celebrate my Uncle Billy's 65th birthday and even happier that it was in my sister's new home.
